FISHING:
Big St. Germain Lake is a top destination fishing spot for anglers of every experience level. Whether you are going after Panfish, Bass, Perch, Northern pike, or the elusive king of the lake, the Musky, you'll find it in our lake.
BIKING:
A 45-mile bike trail that is one of the most beautiful paved trail systems in the Midwest is the Heart of Vilas County Trail, also known as the St. Germain Hike and Bike Trail. This trail begins in St. Germain and takes you all the way to Manitowish Waters. Visitors from around the country come to use this trail.
SNOWMOBILING:
When the snow blankets the ground and the air is frosty, the number one activity in St. Germain is to fire up the snowmobile and head out to the hundreds of miles of meticulously groomed trails compliments of the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club. Plus, don't forget about the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in nearby Eagle River, WI.

Boating:
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 is required to complete a boating safety course to legally operate a motorized boat or personal watercraft (PWC) on Wisconsin waters. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend all boat operators complete a safety course.
Snowmobiling:
If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1985, and are at least age 12, you must complete a snowmobile safety certification course to operate a snowmobile on Wisconsin public snowmobile trails and areas. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend snowmobile operators complete a safety course.
